Announcing..Remarkable Ideas Competition III

Great Dames Inc. announces the third of its popular Remarkable Ideas Competition. “Firestarters: Women with Breakthrough Ideas” invites women to pitch ideas in health and wellness, security and safety, education or youth. The application deadline is Sept. 20, 2018. The pitch event is Oct. 15, 2018. The winner will be announced on Nov. 5, 2018.

The competition has earned a formidable reputation as a powerful incentive for women who hope to turn substantive ideas into successful ventures. Now in its third contest, the Remarkable Ideas Competition is the leading regional pitch contest targeting women-owned enterprises.

Great Dames President Sharon Kelly Hake anticipates one of the most exciting contests to date, largely because the nonprofit has broadened its scope. “We know that Dames and future Dames are leading myriad industries, and their ideas for change are relevant and powerful. We want to provide a meaningful platform for them to share their valuable ideas.”

All competition finalists receive feedback, coaching and renewed confidence in their ideas. The winner receives a package worth more than $25,000 in cash and business services. Esteemed regional judges and members of Great Dames community present at the pitch event select the winner.
