Great Dames Goes National
Women discover their power by connecting virtually
(Wilmington, Philadelphia) Great Dames, Inc. has created a National Virtual Chapter to provide greater access to women nationwide who wish to be part of a community who support and inspire one another. For the first time, all women can attend Great Dames virtual conversations.
Expanded programming and reach will ensure that women create powerful connections and benefit from high-quality experiences. The Great Dames National Virtual Chapter was inspired by women who learned about Great Dames’ virtual offerings via current members of the Great Dames community. Women across the country joined via Zoom throughout the COVID-19 quarantine period — and now wish to stay connected. Recent national events have amplified the need for a safe space for women to share their experiences and ideas.
“The National Virtual Chapter came about organically for an important reason: women are more powerful together, especially during crisis,” says Great Dames President Sharon Kelly Hake. “Their positive responses to our virtual Powerful Conversations, workshops, and Connect events show they want to discover the power within themselves and in others. We want to provide a meaningful platform for women to share their experiences in a way that they feel heard and valued.”
All National Virtual Chapter members are 2020 Great Dames Circle members. Benefits include free tickets to all Great Dames virtual workshops and invitations to all Great Dames Connect events, including a free “friend ticket” to Connect events. The public is invited to experience two complementary virtual events: The June 8 Great Dames Virtual Workshop: "THAT ... was a Great Question," led by Adina Tovell (RSVP here) and June 25 Great Dames Connect Virtually (RSVP here). Registration is required to attend.
