The Dames’ most pivotal series tackles hard-hitting subjects that matter now

 (Wilmington, Philadelphia, International) Great Dames, Inc. announces THRIVE!, its 2022 virtual Powerful Conversations series about surviving our pandemic-driven world. Through 12 monthly events, participants will explore with candor the painful, joyful, and complex subjects that matter now, such as courage, judgment, resilience, self-care, confidence and creativity. Through stories of hardship, triumph and success, women will be empowered to thrive in the face of adversity. 

The series opens on February 22, 2022, with “Bravery: How to Tap Into Our Courage,” featuring women who succeeded despite obstacles. Panelists include Allison Garrett, award-winning speaker, author, successful entrepreneur; Annum Nashra, student community advocate in Bangladesh; and Maureen McVail, former race car driver and mentor.

“THRIVE! is about real issues that real women are facing, like stress, trauma, fatigue, the way the pandemic exacerbated those struggles, and how we can see our way through them,” says Great Dames CEO and President Sharon Kelly Hake. “Women rely on their fellow Dames for camaraderie in a judgment-free space, and they also find valuable support in navigating challenges. This is our most pivotal series to date.”
